Chatham County, GA Butterflies Swallowtails through Nymphalids |

There are about 725 species of
butterflies and skippers in North America, of which at least 164 can be
found in Georgia. There have been 109 species recorded in Chatham
County. That includes five previously undocumented species added to
the record in 2005 through 2007. The current initiative to locate,
photograph and document species and recognized sub-species is
80. On these two pages there are images

75.
